Investigators from the Norwalk Police Department received information that Fairfield resident Angelo Capoccia, 46, had allegedly engaged in “numerous recent activities of sexual contact with a juvenile,” prompting further investigation by detectives.
The subsequent investigation determined that Capoccia allegedly engaged in said acts, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, which was executed last week on April 26, when Capoccia was arrested at his workplace and charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injuring or impairing the moral of a child.
Capoccia is being held on $75,000 bond and is due to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on May 4 to answer the charges.
